The key to good health often comes down to what’s on your plate. This Healthy Teaching Kitchen session will help Veterans focus on their plate by teaching how to choose balanced and healthy portions. Learn practical ways to build meals that give your body the nutrients it needs without overeating.

Connecting Veterans to Careers and Benefits
Visit VA Providence's Enrollment & Eligibility Team at the MassHire Job Fair.
VA Providence is proud to support the Greater New Bedford Job Fair on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rachel’s Lakeside in Dartmouth, MA.
This special event begins with an "Honoring Our Veterans” session from 9–10 a.m., providing Veterans early access to employers across a wide range of industries. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the fair will be open to all job seekers.
The VA Providence enrollment team and the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) will be on site to answer questions, assist with VA health care enrollment, and provide guidance on benefits and claims. Veterans can take advantage of both employment opportunities and direct access to VA services, all in one location.
No registration fee is required. Veterans are encouraged to come dressed for success and bring copies of their résumé.

A Graceful Gift: Free Ballet Tickets for Veterans
Free Performance Tickets for Veterans from Ballet RI.
VA Providence is pleased to share a generous donation from Ballet RI, offering Veterans two complimentary tickets for each performance of Art in Motion: A Collaboration with the Westerly Museum of American Impressionism. The performances will be held at the Woodman Center at Moses Brown School (250 Lloyd Ave, Providence, RI 02906) on the following dates:
• Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 PM
• Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1:30 PM
• Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7:00 PM
• Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1:30 PM
